Thomson THB365, Ultra HD Blu-Ray HDR Dolby Vision player and dual HDMI

Imagine our surprise when we discovered the Thomson THB365 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player on the shelves at Fnac, a model we completely missed. So let's give credit where credit is due with a product review.
Mea Culpa! The 4K Ultra HD player has remained under the editorial team's radar since its release for Black Friday 2024. Yes, we know, it's been a while, but in our defense, this player is managed by the distributor DAP, which is unknown to us, and it's available in relatively few stores: Fnac/Darty (not in all stores), La Redoute, and Rakuten, according to the latest information. Finally, it's extremely poorly listed, advertised as a DVD player. And yet, it handles 4K Ultra HD discs perfectly at a competitive price. In terms of specifications, the technical sheet mentions the essentials: Dolby Vision HDR compatibility is included, in addition to HDR10 of course, Ultra HD 4K upscaling of all video sources, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD compatibility (however, no internal Dolby Atmos or DTS:X decoding). The 3D Ready label is also included.
