Pink Floyd at Pompeii - 1722: the legendary concert in 4K

This summer, Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii, the cult 1972 film directed by Adrian Maben, was re-released under a new title (Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII), digitally remastered from the original 35mm footage, with improved sound and remixes by Steven Wilson. The legendary concert is now available in a 4K box set and other formats.
A concert recorded live, but without an audience: this is the concept behind Adrian Maben's Pink Floyd at Pompeii. Originally a television project filmed in Pompeii from October 4th to 7th, 1971, and then in Paris in December of the same year. In 1971, a first version of the film was released in theaters, followed in 2003 by a DVD version, the so-called Director's Cut, enhanced with computer-generated imagery. A cult Pink Floyd concert is now available in 4K. Starting today, the original concert is available in a restored version with a Dolby Atmos remix, sound reworked by Steven Wilson, and a digitally restored 4K image from the original 35mm film. A Legacy Recordings release.
