Tomb Raider: Lara Croft makes a strong comeback with two games announced

Lara Croft makes a remarkable comeback with two new Tomb Raider games: the remake Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and the brand-new Tomb Raider: Catalyst, expected in 2026 and 2027 respectively.
Presented as a reinterpretation of the very first Tomb Raider (1996), Legacy of Atlantis aims to connect the different eras of Lara Croft. At the helm of the adventurer, players will have to rely on their observation skills, ingenuity, and agility to explore exotic locations forgotten by time. From the jungles of Peru to the ancient ruins of Greece, passing through the deserts of Egypt and a Mediterranean island shrouded in legend, Lara will traverse hostile environments, outwit deadly traps, and confront formidable predators. Her objective: to recover the fragments of the Scion, an artifact of immeasurable power. The Lara Croft video game saga returns in force. Meanwhile, Catalyst represents the next entirely original entry in the saga, set after the events of Shadow of the Tomb Raider (2018). The game features Lara as a treasure hunter, in a style closer to the classic episodes. There's also a slight visual refresh of the character. Lara Croft will once again be voiced and performed by Alix Wilton Regan in both games. The plot of Catalyst unfolds in northern India, after a mythical cataclysm that has unleashed ancient secrets and awakened the forces tasked with protecting them. When the world's most feared treasure hunters converge on the region, Lara races against time to uncover the truth buried beneath a fractured landscape and prevent that power from being misused. As the old world collides with the present, she must also choose who to trust—between unlikely allies and dangerous rivals—to avert disaster and safeguard a secret that could reshape the future.
