The Thomson 4K UHD TV 2025 series includes four references, the "old" Thomson 43UG5C14 (43'', 109 cm) with a central swivel stand, and the new Thomson 50UG5X15 (50'', 127 cm), Thomson 55UG5X15 (55'', 140 cm) and Thomson 65UG5X15 (65", 165 cm).
Thomson 4K UHD TV, main specifications££££
The specifications of the Thomson 4K UHD TV televisions mention an [abc]LCD[/abc] panel of [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] 60 Hz and 10 bits, a sound section delivering from 16 W to 24 W depending on the diagonal, a rich connectivity and compatibility [abc]HDR10[/abc] and Dolby audio.
More specifically, these televisions feature a Direct [abc]LED[/abc] [abc]Global Dimming[/abc] backlighting system, a 16 W (43'') or 20 W (50'', 55'', 65") stereo, a triple tuner [abc]DVB-T[/abc]2, [abc]DVB-S[/abc]2, [abc]DVB-C[/abc], a backlit remote control (possibility of a remote control adapted to the elderly and/or visually impaired with larger and limited buttons, but still equipped with a Favorite button to access your favorite channel with a single press).
Thomson 4K UHD TV, connectivity and swivel stand££££
These new Thomson 4K UHD TVs are richly equipped in terms of connectivity. There are three [abc]HDMI[/abc] [abc]CEC[/abc] 2.1 CEC inputs, one of which manages the [abc]eARC[/abc] functionality, one [abc]Composite[/abc] on auxiliary, one stereo on auxiliary, one [abc]optical[/abc] output, one [abc]USB[/abc] 2.0 port, one [abc]CI+ port[/abc], one [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port and a headphone output. Finally, the 43" model has a swivel base (see photo above) while the others (50", 55" and 65") have a new fixed central base.

It is undeniable, their careful design is very successful with an extremely thin [abc]LCD[/abc] panel frame for a beautiful elegance. Finally, as their name indicates and as already stated above, the Thomson 4K UHD TVs are connected models through the Google TV operating system. We therefore find the [abc]Chromecast (integrated)[/abc] function, Google Assistant voice control, [abc]HbbTV[/abc] compatibility or even access to the Google Play Store to install all the desired applications: Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, myCanal…
