The Max platform has just revealed the first trailer for the highly anticipated season 2 of Tokyo Vice, the series launched by Michael Mann and enjoying great critical success.

Jake Adelstein in great danger

Always freely adapted from American journalist Jake Adelstein's investigation into organized crime and police corruption in Tokyo, Tokyo Vice season 2 returns for a second season which plunges us even further into the criminal world of the Japanese metropolis and his Yakusas. No more denial, this time, the American journalist Adelstein (Ansel Elgort, convincing) realizes that his life and that of his loved ones are in great danger.

JT Rogers created and wrote the series which stars Ken Watanabe as Detective Hiroto Katagiri, also starring Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Show Kasamatsu, Ayumi Ito. Among the new recurring actors in the series: Yosuke Kubozuka and Miki Maya. Still produced by Michael Mann, the second season of Tokyo Vice will be broadcast in France on Canal+ in February. And for those latecomers, Tokyo Vice season 1 is also available on Blu-Ray and DVD since December 1st.
