First foldable screen iPad in 2024?

Apple is consciously slow to enter the foldable screen smartphone market, and it might be a foldable iPad that would arrive in the first place.

Corroborating previous rumors to this effect, Taiwanese Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that Apple will launch its first-ever foldable iPad next year. The device will a priori be accompanied by a carbon fiber support, light and resistant.

2022, a dismal year for the iPad market…

According to Kuo, there should be no notable tablet releases from Apple in the next nine to twelve months. The foldable iPad would therefore be the brand's next big product in this sector, which apparently is not doing very well. Indeed, Kuo predicts a decline in iPad distribution of 10% to 15% this year. The new foldable iPad would boost business by bringing diversity to Apple's lineup.
