New features for the JBL QuantumEngine software, which, as a reminder, brings together all the essential features (immersive spatial audio, game-specific sound design, AI noise reduction) within a simplified user interface.
Real-time gameplay analysis
We begin with a continuous analysis of gameplay sounds, making it possible to identify key elements such as footsteps, voices, gunfire and explosions. This can, for example, make it easier to locate enemies in multiplayer.
Cross-platform synchronization
Next comes the synchronization of audio profiles, now possible across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS and Android) when the same account is used, as well as the immediate recognition of games when they launch, to automatically load the corresponding preconfigured sound profile.
Base Station, mobile app and Nanoleaf compatibility
Another new feature is that the Base Station becomes the control center of the JBL Quantum ecosystem, allowing several JBL Quantum devices to be controlled directly, without opening the QuantumEngine dashboard. Also worth noting, JBL QuantumEngine features can now be adjusted from a smartphone. Finally, JBL QuantumEngine lighting configurations are also becoming compatible with Nanoleaf products.
The rollout of these new features will be staggered between now and the fourth quarter of 2026.
