Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold: barely launched, already gone?

Samsung's first foldable triple-screen smartphone, the Galaxy Z Trifold, appears to have been nothing more than a brief, short-lived experiment.
At the end of last year, Samsung launched its first-ever smartphone with a tri-fold screen, the Galaxy Z Trifold, along two hinges, in limited quantities and in only a handful of regions. The Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold, a collector's item born of scarcity, was almost always out of stock due to its unique nature and rarity. However, it seems Samsung doesn't consider it a high-volume product and has decided to halt its distribution. This is according to the Korean media outlet Donga, which reports that the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold will not be restocked in Korea after a final replenishment. Is the Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold just a technological demonstration? Other regions where the smartphone was distributed, such as the USA, are expected to suffer the same fate, meaning Samsung will not continue production once the initial stock is depleted. The company has already confirmed that it is not working on a successor to the aircraft, which will therefore have been nothing more than a short-lived technical demonstration.
