Tecno Mobile Smartphone: 4.9 mm thick and magnetic modules!

At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in early March, Tecno presented a smartphone concept incorporating its Modular Magnetic Interconnection Technology. Tecno offers eight magnetic zones for a customizable smartphone (20x optical zoom, batteries, microphone, etc.). In other words, the device's specifications can be expanded or diversified via one or more external modules, which attach simply magnetically. More specifically, the smartphone features eight magnetic zones on the back for freely attaching modules of choice, allowing users to create their dream phone. A huge telephoto lens (20x optical zoom), batteries, a microphone, a walkie-talkie, and much more can be added to customize the smartphone. It's worth noting that this device boasts an extremely slim profile of 4.9 mm (compared to 5.6 mm for the iPhone Air), which is certainly a plus. This is currently just a concept prototype, and we hope that Tecno will soon release it as a commercially available product.
