A live and VR concert event by Jean-Michel Jarre for the 400th anniversary of Versailles

The pope of electronic music will celebrate the quadruple centenary of the Palace of Versailles with a concert-show broadcast live on December 25 from the Hall of Mirrors, as well as in virtual reality in the metaverse.

As he had already done at Notre-Dame for the transition to the year 2021, Jean-Michel Jarre will once again organize a futuristic show for the metaverse. This will happen at Christmas on December 25, in Versailles, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of this historic splendor, a UNESCO world heritage site.

There are still a few places on sale on the castle ticket office website. For the staging, spectators are also invited to follow a black and red dress code…

Live concert + VR, normal in the future?

We remember for New Year's Eve, the musician played in a fully digitized Notre-Dame cathedral (before the fire). This time, wearing a mixed reality headset, Jean-Michel Jarre will give a one-hour concert-show, simultaneously in front of a real audience in the Hall of Mirrors and in the metaverse, thanks to his avatar, in the center of a futuristic Hall of Mirrors with a connected audience, in virtual reality. A live and VR concert, undoubtedly a winning combo that could develop in the future…
