YouTube wants you to watch the ads!

And yet another YouTube “feature” that has arrived discreetly to discourage you from skipping ads.

At the risk of being literally bullied by Internet users, in recent months YouTube has tried several "experiments" to make us watch more advertisements on its platform, in order to generate more revenue (more trivially wheat, flouz, mesh, pèze, money, money, sorrel, dough, pepettes, flouze, circles, pennies, hay, etc.) while encouraging the user to upgrade to the Premium version, paid and without cuts.

YouTube minimizes and renames Skip Ads button

Latest madness, reduce the size of the Skip Ads button at the bottom right of the screen, allowing you to skip the ad to go directly to the video (or the next ad). The button therefore became simply Skip, and underwent a slimming regime to be even more difficult to click (while encroaching ever less on the magnificent advertising).

Next step, a mobile Skip who moves randomly on the ad and who you have to manage to catch to hope to watch his video? Or even an invisible Skip? At least it would be fun!
