Cult: The Peeping Tom restored in 4K available for pre-order

A film that has become cult over the years, cherished by directors like Brian De Palma and Martin Scorsese, The Voyeur has finally benefited from a remastering worthy of the name. 4K release imminent with pre-orders opening.

In 1960, Michael Powell, the director of Red Slippers and Black Narcissus, made his strangest and undoubtedly most personal film: Peeping Tom, a sort of arty slasher before its time and very first film to evoke snuff movies, the release of which undoubtedly suffered from the concomitant release of another equally disturbing and horrifying masterpiece, Psycho.

• The Voyeur's Legacy• Restoration • The Eye of the Beholder• Introduction by Martin Scorsese (2007)• Interview with Thelma Schoonmaker (2007)• Audio commentary by Professor Ian Christie• Original trailer

• 32 page book
