Netlix invests more in French production

Streaming giant Netflix has committed to investing more in the production of works produced in France.

After an initial agreement signed in 2021 with Arcom (formerly CSA), Netflix recently became more involved in financing works produced in France, following in the footsteps of Amazon Prime Video which did the same at the end of 2022 (Disney+ is the last one still awaited on the subject).

Netflix supports the production of French content

Netflix has therefore accepted the new financial terms of the professional organizations in the audiovisual creation sector: the producer associations Uspa, Spi, AnimFrance, and Stev, but also Sedpa for distributors, as well as the authors' organizations SACD and Scam . Concretely, Netflix is committed to investing even more in the documentary genre, animation and works of original French expression.
