The TCL C64 TV series has six Ultra HD 4K references, the TCL 43C645 (43'', 109 cm), TCL 50C645 (50'', 127 cm), TCL 55C645 (55'', 140 cm), TCL 65C645 (65'', 165 cm), TCL 75C645 (75'', 191 cm) and TCL 85C645 (85'', 216 cm).
TCL C645, the main specifications
TCL C645 televisions benefit from a double stand that can adopt two positions (at both ends of the screen to place the TV on a large piece of furniture or refocus under the slab in the case of a shorter support) and Quantum Dots technology for increased performance in colorimetry. Similarly, except for the TCL 43C645 model, the VRR function (48 Hz to 60 Hz) and FreeSync compatibility are required.
For the rest, there is a very thin panel frame almost non-existent on the left, right and top sides of the screen, a native VA type 10-bit 60 Hz LCD panel associated with AiPQ Engine video processing 3.0. There is also a WCG (Wide Color Gamut) panel, a Micro Dimming system (optimization of image quality by zone via software process) and Direct LED Global Dimming backlighting. Of course, HDR10+, HDR HLG and HDR Dolby Vision compatibility is required.
There is still Motion Clarity processing to make the display more fluid during a sports broadcast, a DVB-T2/DVB-C and DVB-S2 tuner and the Game Master label. The latter involves the ALLM function, HDMI 2.1 connectivity (three inputs provided on the TCL C645 TVs) and a minimum Input Lag, less than 10 ms here. Of course, given the native frequency of the panel, there is no 4K/120 function, but players will still be able to benefit from HFR thanks to the DLG (Dual Line Gate) process. The latter, by halving the vertical resolution (therefore in 1080p and not 2160p), offers a 120 Hz display for a smoother and more pleasant gaming experience. Finally, the sound section mentions 2.0 equipment for a total power of 20 W (2 x 10 W), 30 W (2 x 15 W) for the 75'' and 85 inches.
TCL C645, Smart Google TV function
While the UPnP (DLNA) media gateway function is present in addition to HBBTV compatibility, as on last year's C635 screens, one of the strengths of the TCL C645 TV series is the integration of Google TV Smart TV function, in version 11.0 here. In addition to having an internet browser, Voice Search and Chromecast functions, offering access to the Google Play Store rich in several thousand free applications, there is multi-account management, the PIP, the Cast function efficient on Ultra HD content, multitasking management to navigate between several applications, quick access to favorite content via a side information bar superimposed on the screen, Google Assistant compatibility and the Hands free Voice Control function (voice control of the TV) without the need for the remote control (miro integrated in the TV).
Of course, Wi-Fi ac is on board, in addition to the Bluetooth function. All “driven” by a Quad Core processor. We also note the T-Cast Away function to display the content of the TV screen on a second screen. And Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual-X compatibility is required (virtual process).
The connectors
The connection has three HDMI CEC 2.1 obedience and HDCP 2.3 certified inputs. On the HDMI 1 connector, there is also the eARC function. There are also, among other things, a USB 3.0 port, an Ethernet port and a Canal Ready certified CI+ port. Plus headphone output and optical.
