Google arrives with its new Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, at aggressive prices for high-end models: € 649 for the Pixel 6, and € 899 for the Pixel 6 Pro. Note, they are each available in a single configuration: 8 GB of Ram / 128 GB of storage for the first named, 12 GB of Ram / 128 GB for the second.

On the screen side, there is a 6.4 '' (16.25 cm) 1080p HDR10 + Oled specimen at 90 Hz refresh rate for the Pixel 6, and 6.7 '' (17 cm) 1440p with LTPO technology for a variable refresh rate between 10 Hz and 120 Hz for the Pro. Both references benefit from a Corning Glass Victus coating and the resolution displays 1080 x 2400 pixels (411 ppi) at the 20/9 ratio for the Pixel 6 and 1440 x 3120 pixels (512 ppi) at the 16.5 ratio / 9 for the Pixel 6 Pro.
Running with the new Android 12 OS, smartphones are equipped with the proprietary Octa Core Google Tensor processor (2 x 2.80 GHz Cortex-X1 + 2 x 2.25 GHz Cortex-A76 + 4 x 1.80 GHz Cortex-A55) supported by a Mali-G78 MP20 graphics chip, announced to compete with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 on board high-end models from other manufacturers.

Design level, the Pixel 6 / Pixel 6 Pro are elegant models with a glass back and polished aluminum. There is a significant protuberance at the back for the photo module which occupies a bar across the entire width of the back of the mobile. To return to the photo sensors, the two models are equipped with a 50 Mplxs wide-angle main module (f / 1.85, 26 mm, optical stabilization, photosite 1.2 µm, PDAF) and 12 Mpxls ultra-wide angle ( f / 2.2, 18mm, photosite 1.25 µm). The Pro model has an additional 48 Mpxls telephoto sensor (f / 3.5, stabilized, 104 mm, optical zoom x4, photosite 0.8 µm, PDAF). The selfie sensor is of 8 Mpxls (f / 2.0, 24 mm, photosite 1.12 µm) on the Pixel 6, and 11.1 Mpxls (f / 2.2, 20 mm, photosite 1 , 12 µm) on the 6 Pro. Video capture is two smartphones is provided up to 2160p / 60 HDR or 1080p / 240, up to 1080p / 30 for the Selfie camera on the Pixel 6 and up to 2160p / 30 or 1080p / 60 for the Pixel 6 Pro.

The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are compatible with wireless charging and feature Reverse Wireless Charging. They are also IP68 certified and are equipped with fingerprint sensors under the screen, stereo speakers and fast charging. For the connection count on 5G, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity. Finally, the batteries have a capacity of 4,614 mAh for the Pixel 6 and 5,003 mAh for the Pixel 6 Pro.
