Meta: New AI-powered smart glasses available individually at bargain prices to compete with Apple and Samsung

Social media giant Meta is accelerating its strategy in the augmented reality and wearables market. Mark Zuckerberg's company is breaking away from the Ray-Ban brand to launch its own smart glasses, simply called Meta. Offered at a more aggressive price than the previous generation, this new version boasts enhanced technical specifications while integrating the brand's latest generation of artificial intelligence to anticipate the impending price war with Samsung and Apple.
One of the pioneers of smart glasses is expanding its SmartGlasses range. Following the Ray-Ban and Oakley-branded models, Meta is launching the Meta glasses, quite simply. More battery life and integration of the Muse Spark AI assistant. The first advantage of this model is a starting price of €309, which is less than the original price of Ray-Ban glasses. However, the features remain the same, or even slightly better, with longer battery life and superior image quality. Also noteworthy is an improved AI experience with the integration of the latest Muse Spark assistant from Meta AI. Partnership renewed with EssilorLuxottica and 26 variations. Meta glasses are designed in collaboration with EssilorLuxottica (which owns Ray-Ban and Oakley, so no disloyalty here), and come in 26 style combinations, across three designs and several colors and lenses. Prescription lenses are still accepted. With the imminent arrival of Samsung on the market and Apple a little later, it seems this sector will see fierce competition… Available now.
