Philips OLED811 TV: updated indicative prices

Like the Philips OLED951 and Philips OLED911 series, the suggested retail prices for the Philips OLED811 series are now available. And, many of you will be pleased to know, we've added a technical datasheet summarizing the main specifications.
The Philips OLED811 series comprises five models: the Philips 42LED811 (42", 107 cm), Philips 48LED811 (48", 122 cm), Philips 55OLED811 (55", 140 cm), Philips 65OLED811 (65", 165 cm), and Philips 77OLED811 (77", 196 cm). In terms of design, it features an ultra-thin black metal frame. The TVs have a central swiveling "Circle Cut" base in a satin chrome finish, except for the 77" model which has angled metal feet in the same finish, for safety reasons. Philips OLED811 TV, new OLED EX TV panel for 2,500 nits peak brightness. The OLED811 series adopts a new generation OLED EX panel capable of reaching an impressive peak brightness of 2,500 nits (250 nits for 100% APL), except for the 42" model whose peak brightness is not specified (only the absence of the Peak Light Booster function is mentioned), and respective gamut coverages of 83% of Rec.2020 and 98.5% of DCI-P3. A significant improvement over the previous generation, enabling frame-by-frame analysis to restore the original dynamic range of the content for richer and more nuanced HDR tone mapping. Philips OLED811 TV and P5 AI Gen 10: Dolby Vision 2 HDR implementation. Dolby Vision 2 Max HDR compatibility (see our IFA 25 news > Dolby Vision 2 HDR, everything you need to know about this new quality standard!), combined with the new Dolby Image Engine, ensures more precise HDR processing thanks to AI-driven Content Intelligence features. At the helm is the more powerful P5 AI Gen 10 processor (Pentonic 800) which manages key DV2 Max functions: frame-by-frame tone mapping, Precision Black and Light Sense technologies to optimize black levels and brightness respectively, and Authentic Motion for smoother cinematic rendering. The overall aim is to offer a more natural, dynamic, and controlled image, regardless of viewing conditions. Philips OLED811 Ambilight + AmbiScape TV: Total Light Immersion. Three-sided Ambilight remains at the heart of the Philips OLED811 TV experience, but the major innovation lies in the integration of the AmbiScape function (see our Philips AmbiScape news article: switch to Ambilight for total immersion). This feature allows you to synchronize the TV's Ambilight with up to four connected lamps from different brands, extending the lighting ambiance throughout the room. The image then appears to extend into the space, enhancing immersion during movies, concerts, or gaming sessions.

Philips OLED811 Gaming TV: HDMI 2.1, 165Hz, HDR10+ Gaming and Smart Game Bar

Designed for gamers, the Philips OLED811 series supports a refresh rate of up to 165Hz, as well as FreeSync Premium, G-Sync, and HDR10+ Gaming technologies. Of course, the Game Bar allows quick access to essential settings, saving custom profiles, and even automatically recognizing certain games to apply optimized settings. Thanks to the MediaTek Pentonic 800 chipset, the TV has four HDMI 2.1 ports compatible with consoles and high-performance sources.

Philips OLED811 TV: 2.2 and 70W Audio Configuration

The sound system is based on a 2.2 system with a power output of 70W (50W for the 42"), with digital crossover and dual compact subwoofers. A configuration designed to offer a wide and precise soundstage.

Philips OLED811 TV, Titan OS Smart TV

No Google TV or Android TV on the Philips OLED811 screens, but the new Titan OS 2026 Smart TV interface developed in partnership with the European company of the same name and launched in 2024 on the Philips Mini LED PML9049 and Philips LED PUS8909 TV series. This operating system, created by former employees of Disney, Roku, Rakuten, KKR, etc., allows access to the biggest streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+, HBO) Max, Pluto TV, DAZN… Apple TV is expected in the spring). Similarly, it integrates AirPlay 2, Google Assistant, Works with Alexa certification, and Control 4 compatibility, not to mention the new Moments app allowing quick transfer of your favorite photos stored on your smartphone to the big screen and the addition of visual and sound effects… Good news for gamers: the latest version of Titan OS offers the Game Bar feature, providing access to the Blacknut and Boosteroid cloud gaming services. This also allows users to quickly access game settings and switch between them on the fly without wasting time, for example, by choosing from various game profiles (FPS, RPG, etc.). MEMC Gaming motion compensation processing and Dolby Vision Gaming HDR offer an exceptional gaming experience. The Game Bar displays an FPS (frames per second) counter to help optimize settings. Gaming and FreeSync Premium and G-Sync certifications are included. Available at the end of June.
