The Zelda movie will be released (a little) earlier

Sony Pictures and Nintendo have changed – once again – the theatrical release date of the live-action adaptation of the video game The Legend of Zelda.
Originally scheduled for March 26, 2027, then postponed to May 5, 2027, the live-action adaptation of the video game The Legend of Zelda has had its release date changed again. It will arrive a week earlier, on April 28, 2027. A new Zelda game following the film's release? "This is Miyamoto," the star creator of Nintendo on X said. "We have decided to change the worldwide theatrical release date of the live-action film The Legend of Zelda, moving it from May 7, 2027 to April 30, 2027 (US dates). In order to bring it to you even just one day earlier, the entire team is working together to accelerate production." There's less than a year until release, but thank you for your patience. No real explanation, then, for this early release, especially since no major competing titles were scheduled for the same day. Perhaps a rescheduling to coincide with a surprise release of a new Zelda game?
