Sony Bravia 3 II TVs: XXL range from 43" to 100" geared towards cinema, streaming and gaming

With its new Bravia 3 II TV series, Sony is beefing up its mid-range TV offering by combining an XR processor, a 120Hz panel, Dolby Atmos/DTS:X compatibility, and deep integration with the Bravia Theatre ecosystem. A versatile XXL range, from 43" to 100", equally at home with movies, streaming, and PlayStation 5.
The Sony Bravia 3 II series includes the following models: Sony 43XR30M2 (43", 109 cm), Sony 50XR30M2 (50", 127 cm), Sony 55XR30M2 (55", 140 cm), Sony 65XR30M2 (65", 191 cm), Sony 75XR30M2 (75", 191 cm), Sony 85XR30M2 (85", 216 cm), and Sony 1005XR30M2 (100", 254 cm).

Sony Bravia 3 II TV: Main Specifications

In terms of technical specifications, the Sony Bravia 3 II TVs feature a Direct LED Global Dimming backlighting system, a native 120Hz LCD panel, and the XR Cognitive Processor. The latter benefits from advanced artificial intelligence integration for an even more powerful XR Clear Image function. Excellent color reproduction is achieved with a multitude of new hues thanks to adjustments not only of luminance but also of saturation. This is thanks to Quantum Dot technology (XR Triluminos Pro label). Image depth is also improved through finer management of foreground objects, which receive the majority of video processing (precision, color, etc.), in contrast to background objects, which are processed with a subtle bokeh effect, also highly sophisticated, for greater overall realism similar to human vision. Of course, advanced contrast, motion, and noise reduction management are also on the menu. Finally, XR Triluminos Pro technology expands the color palette, while XR Clear Image improves the sharpness of compressed content.

Sony Bravia 3 II TV: equipment in line with the new Sony Bravia Bar 7/Bar 5 soundbars. The Bravia 3 II TVs integrate X-Balanced speakers and support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X soundtracks. To enhance sound performance, Sony clearly encourages pairing with the new Bravia Theatre Bar 7 or Bravia Theatre Bar 5 soundbars, which fully utilize immersive formats.

Sony Bravia 3 II TV, complete interface and understated design The Sony Bravia 3 II TVs adopt Google TV, the Eco Dashboard and hands-free voice control via Google Assistant, with the added benefit of Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit compatibility and the Voice Search function for voice control of the TV. The design remains discreet, with a flush bezel and a Slim T-Shape stand available in two positions on larger screen sizes (from 55"). The overall effect is a versatile television with a balanced design.

Like all Sony Bravia XR TVs, the Sony Bravia 3 II offers the exclusive Sony Pictures Core (Centre of Real Entertainment) streaming platform. Primarily featuring Sony Pictures productions, this platform offers, with the purchase of a Bravia XR TV, the opportunity to watch a selection of 5 films from the Hollywood studio for free for 12 months, chosen from a regularly expanding catalog. The Sony Pictures Core film library is expected to grow regularly, with exceptional quality, offering speeds of up to 80 Mbps for consumers with a suitable subscription.

Sony Bravia 3 II TV, Perfect for PlayStation 5 and Game Menu The Perfect for PlayStation 5 certification, with its two features Auto HDR Tone Mapping and Auto Genre Picture Mode, is also included. With this certification, Sony Bravia 3 II TVs automatically switch between Game and Standard modes (ALLM function) depending on the nature of the signal sent by the PS5 console.

Similarly, the Game Menu provides quick and easy access to game settings: VRR, Motion Blur reduction, Black Equalizer function (to brighten areas of the image and reveal an enemy or a bonus), and the displayed image size (to reduce it on the screen).
