Hunger Games: The Complete Mockingbird arrives in 4K, pre-order open

Suzanne Collins' literary saga, The Hunger Games, gave rise to four films retracing the adventures of Katniss Everdeen, as well as a prequel released last year, centered on the youth of her nemesis: Coriolanus Snow. Metropolitan has the good idea of bringing together these five films in a 4K box set to be released on March 22.

Another short quarter to wait to be able to enjoy the Hunger Games saga in a 4K Ultra HD box set, expected on March 22.

Hunger Games saga, no botched film

Hunger Games, Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire, Hunger Games: Rebellion Part 1 - Hunger Games: Rebellion Part 2 and Hunger Games: The Ballad of the Serpent and the Songbird form a homogeneous pentalogy of which none of the parts was not botched. Each film is a little gem of action, adventure and dystopian political fiction with, at the end, a well-deserved box office success.

The fact that only two directors succeeded one another must undoubtedly have played a role (the first film was directed by Gary Ross, the last four by Francis Lawrence). But it is undoubtedly the actress Jennifer Lawrence (no relation to her director) who literally sets the first four films in the saga on fire. She is incredible and is worth purchasing the box set alone! Pre-order by clicking directly on Hunger Games the complete 4K.
