American Horror Story season 13 unveils its trailer

FX has unveiled the official trailer for season 13 of American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy’s series with a totally unexpected five-star cast. While some imagined that this new season would be a sequel to the very popular Coven, Murphy explains that it will actually bring together several elements and actors from previous seasons.

Ryan Murphy confided to Entertainment Weekly: “It’s a bit like Avengers. Everyone comes together to face the ultimate Evil. So it’s very fun. As soon as I presented them with the idea, many actors who had refused to return in recent years told me: “Well, okay, for that, we have to come back[s]”.”

As a result, the season will not only bring back familiar faces, but also several characters who have become iconic. Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Frances Conroy, Kathy Bates and John Carroll Lynch will all be back.

In other words, this season is shaping up to be a pure exercise in fan service, with the return of some of the series’ most memorable figures. As the trailer shows, some actors will even be reprising several of their former roles.

Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, Paul Anthony Kelly, Mena Suvari and even filmmaker John Waters will also be part of it. American Horror Story season 13 will begin on September 24 in the United States on FX and Hulu. In France, it will be available on Disney+, on a date that has not yet been officially announced.
