Sony Reon Pocket Pro Plus: more powerful personal air conditioning and improved ergonomics

The Sony Reon Pocket, a portable personal air conditioner and heater worn at the base of the neck, returns in a more ergonomic and refreshing version.
Featured in our pages as early as 2019, following a successful crowdfunding campaign, the Sony Reon Pocket was launched in Japan in 2020. Since then, the device has expanded internationally and been improved, becoming available in our region last year. And this evolution continues today with the new Reon Pocket Pro Plus. Sony Reon Pocket Pro Plus: Optimized Cooling and Enhanced Fit. As a reminder, this portable air conditioner is worn around the neck and at the base of the neck. Using a principle called the Peltier effect, the Reon Pocket Pro cools you by raising or lowering the temperature to reach a target surface temperature of approximately 20° Celsius. The new Plus version stands out with several features, including a newly optimized cooling algorithm, allowing for an additional 2°C reduction in surface temperature compared to the previous model. In addition, the neckband has been redesigned, with an increased diameter for the flexible mechanical tube, resulting in approximately 40% greater holding power, ensuring a secure fit and optimal contact with the body. Sony Reon Pocket Pro Plus, now with an adjustable air vent. Finally, the air vent mechanism now features an adjustable design, allowing you to extend its length and change the opening angle, guaranteeing efficient heat dissipation. Available. Suggested retail price: €229.
