Bose Lifestyle: new multiroom collection with soundbar, speaker and subwoofer

Bose presents its Lifestyle collection, a new range consisting of a smart speaker, a 5.0.2 Dolby Atmos soundbar, and a subwoofer, designed to deliver high-quality sound through simple and versatile use.
The brand announces three products designed to work together or separately, incorporating Bose's patented audio technologies, extensive compatibility via Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth, as well as premium finishes. All three models will be available on May 15th, with pre-orders open starting today. Three new Bose Lifestyle Ultra products: speaker, soundbar, and subwoofer. The Bose Lifestyle collection includes the Bose Lifestyle Ultra speaker, the Bose Lifestyle Ultra soundbar, and the Bose Lifestyle Ultra subwoofer. Essentially, since the names are identical, without even a numerical or letter reference, you need to specify the type of audio product to know which one you're talking about. In short, the three Lifestyle Ultra components are offered in black and cloud white (that's the exact term used by the brand…), while the speaker has a limited edition sand and driftwood finish (for the base). The products adopt premium materials, including a glass top surface for the soundbar and subwoofer. Bose Lifestyle Ultra, a range designed to work together or separately. The products can be used individually or combined to create an audio system suitable for different spaces. The Lifestyle Ultra speaker can operate alone or as a stereo pair, while the soundbar can be paired with the subwoofer and two speakers to form a 7.1.4 home theater system. Bose announces immersive sound, calibrated to preserve clarity, balance, and dynamics. A 3.5 mm mini-jack input is present on the speaker for connecting an external audio source, such as a turntable.

Bose Lifestyle Ultra: Open Wi-Fi connectivity, Google Cast, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth

Compatible with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, the Lifestyle collection also supports Google Cast, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect for streaming music directly from the usual apps. The devices can be integrated into a multi-room system, including with speakers from other manufacturers via Google Home or AirPlay. Bluetooth remains available for quick and direct connections.

Bose audio technologies: Direct/Reflecting, TrueSpatial, CleanBass, and QuietPort

The Lifestyle Ultra speaker uses a modern version of Direct/Reflecting technology with three drivers: a tweeter, a woofer, and an upward-firing full-range driver. TrueSpatial technology adds height and depth, while CleanBass and QuietPort ensure controlled bass despite the product's compact size. Note: Dolby Atmos is only supported when the speaker is paired with the soundbar.

Bose Lifestyle Ultra: New acoustic architecture for the soundbar££££

The soundbar incorporates six full-range drivers (two of which are upward-firing), a central tweeter, and two exclusive PhaseGuide drivers to create virtual speakers, for example, on the sides, using psychoacoustic algorithms. It supports Dolby Atmos and uses TrueSpatial for non-Atmos content. SpeechClarity enhances dialogue via AI processing, and CustomTune optimizes the sound based on the room using an iOS or Android microphone. It connects to the TV via HDMI and eARC and can be wall-mounted with a dedicated bracket (sold separately). Bose Lifestyle Ultra: Powerful wireless subwoofer designed for home theater. The Lifestyle Ultra subwoofer uses CleanBass and QuietPort technologies to produce deep, controlled bass. It can be wirelessly paired with the soundbar or connected via a 3.5 mm mini-jack input. Bose states that this is its best-performing bass module to date. Bose Lifestyle Ultra: Premium design and updated Bose app. The collection features clean lines, textured mesh fabrics, and glass panels. The updated Bose app simplifies initial setup and allows you to adjust volume, sources, equalization, surround sound, and height levels. Controls can also be made via touch buttons, voice (built-in Alexa+), music apps, or a compatible TV remote. Available May 15.
