Apple, more record results, thanks to the iPhone 17

The most popular iPhone of all time, the iPhone 17, contributes to a second quarter with more dollars than ever for Apple.
In its latest quarterly earnings announcement (quarter ending March 28, 2026), Apple stated that its Services division had reached $30.9 billion in revenue, the best figure ever for the company in this sector, and 16.2% higher than for the same period last year. Services and revenue are booming. As for the Cupertino company's total revenue, it reached $111.2 billion, 16.5% higher than the same period in 2025. For iPhones, at $57 billion, the division grew by 21%, notably thanks to the continued impact of the iPhone 17 lineup, the most popular lineup of all time according to Apple executives. A Services division that has become essential with more than 2 billion active devices. As a reminder, the Services division includes activities such as than the App Store, the Mac App Store, Apple Music, Apple Pay, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple News+. This is a crucial area for Apple, since iPhones, iPads, and other devices cannot be endlessly renewed and sold, whereas a subscription to a service represents a recurring source of revenue, especially considering the brand's installed user base (over 2 billion active devices).
