Porsche 963: an Apple rainbow livery to celebrate 75 years of Porsche Motorsport and 50 years of Apple

To mark a recent motorsport competition and to celebrate two anniversaries, Porsche adorned two of its cars with Apple's colors.
During the fourth round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, which took place in early May at Laguna Seca, Porsche collaborated with Apple to dress two Porsche 963s in the colors and rainbow logo of the iPhone creator.

A collaboration for Porsche Motorsport's 75th anniversary and Apple's 50th

A collaboration that marks the 75th anniversary of Porsche Motorsport and Apple's 50th, with colors that Apple used between 1977 and 1998. In addition, this unique design for the race cars pays homage to the Porsche 935 K3 that raced during the 1980 season, notably on the Le Mans circuit.

A word from Oliver Schusser, Apple Vice President of Music, Sports, and Beats££££

“We have a long-standing relationship with Porsche, which dates back to 1980, when a Porsche race car first sported the Apple logo,” said Oliver Schusser, Vice President of Apple Music, Sports, and Beats. This moment marked the beginning of a shared passion for innovation and creativity, which continues to define our collaboration today. As Apple celebrates its 50th anniversary, we are proud to partner with Porsche again on a design that pays homage to this original 1980 livery.
