iPhone vs Android loyalty, there's no contest!

How loyal are Americans to their smartphone brand when it's time to upgrade?
Consumers are more loyal to their iPhones than ever, according to a recent survey conducted by the comparison website SellCell among 5,000 Americans, half of whom were iOS users and the other half Android users. Record loyalty: iPhone retains 96.4% of its users. The survey reveals that 96.4% of iPhone owners will stay with Apple for their next smartphone (and only 3.6% say they will look elsewhere). This is an increase compared to 2021, when the figure was 91.9%. By comparison, 86.4% of Android smartphone users say they will remain loyal, while 13.6% plan to switch to a competitor. Among them, while a majority will switch to a different manufacturer while remaining on the Android system, 26.8% say they will switch to iPhone. Among the reasons given by those who will leave Apple for Android, half of those concerned consider iPhone prices too high, and 22.5% say that the competing technology is more advanced.
