iPhone 18: Dynamic Island area reduced by 35% according to new leaked images

New leaked images confirm that the Dynamic Island design of the upcoming iPhone 18 will be significantly more compact, with an estimated reduction of 35%.
Screen bezels as wide as on the iPhone 17, but a smaller Dynamic Island: this is what recent leaks from several reliable sources report, corroborating previous rumors on the subject. Consistent leaks indicate a smaller Dynamic Island on the iPhone 18. A software trick used to conceal the pill-shaped cutout at the top of the screen on the latest iPhones, "Dynamic Island" is the term that also seems to have been adopted by all the "leakers" and journalists for this same cutout. And recent "leaked" images of the device and screen protectors show an estimated 35% size reduction. Face ID under the screen: the key to reducing the cutout by 35%. To achieve this, Apple has managed to conceal the Face ID component under the screen, which can be glimpsed in the photo below thanks to a well-placed flash, visible through the transparent material beneath the screen. It's worth remembering that Apple's ultimate goal is to conceal all camera components to offer a beautiful screen occupying the entire front of iPhones.
