iPhone Ultra delayed until December?

Apple's first foldable iPhone may not be ready to launch alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max this September…
Rumors have been circulating for some time now, giving hope that the very first foldable iPhone, or iPhone Ultra, will arrive in the fall of 2026, alongside the new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. Is the iPhone Ultra following in the footsteps of the iPhone X? However, according to the latest report from analyst Tim Long of the investment bank Barclays, the device will be slightly delayed and will only arrive in December of this year. This situation is similar to what happened in 2017 with another major Apple model, the iPhone X, which arrived in November, two months after the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. At the time of writing, it's difficult to know whether this is a strategic choice to allow each of these models to have a distinct launch, or if production for this new model simply requires more time.
