Spider-Man stronger than GTA VI: the record-breaking trailer

Eight hours after its release, the trailer for the new Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day became the most-viewed movie trailer of all time (373 million views), surpassing another Marvel film, Deadpool & Wolverine (365 million views in 24 hours). Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer: +51% compared to Grand Theft Auto VI. After one day, with 718.6 million views, the trailer became the most-watched across all categories for that time period, overtaking the trailer for the video game Grand Theft Auto VI, released in the summer of 2025 (475 million in 24 hours). A great score for a film that looks promising after these first images, and which gives hope for Marvel's "comeback" after a few years of unfortunate wandering, despite one or two successful films.
