Schwarzenegger is preparing well for King Conan

Incredible! The King Conan project, recently mentioned by 78-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger, is not just a fantasy. The film is very real and now seems to be gaining significant momentum.
According to a report in the National Enquirer, relayed by the New York Post, the Austrian actor is currently undergoing intensive physical training for the role, aiming to further improve his physique and truly resemble a legendary barbarian king, while remaining mindful of his health. Over the years, Schwarzenegger has indeed faced several serious heart problems linked to familial genetic predispositions. These complications have led to several open-heart surgeries over the past thirty years. He has also undergone hip replacement surgery and suffered from various joint problems. Christopher McQuarrie (Top Gun: Maverick) to direct the next Conan? While rumors about a new Conan the Barbarian have circulated for many years, Arnold's own revelation nearly three weeks ago still came as a surprise. According to him, filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie had been hired to write and direct the film. At the time, Schwarzenegger described the project in these terms: "With King Conan, there's a really good old story: Conan reigned for forty years as king, then he's driven out of the kingdom. There's a conflict, of course, but somehow he comes back, and then all sorts of madness, violence, magic, creatures, and that sort of thing ensue." Schwarzenegger has been absent from the cinema since Dark Fate in 2019. Of all the projects Schwarzenegger mentioned at the same time, including sequels to Commando and Predator, King Conan is by far the most enticing. It's also the one that best suits the actor's current age, but above all, it fits a storyline already largely laid out by the original work surrounding the character of Conan. Schwarzenegger's last appearance on screen was in Terminator: Dark Fate in 2019. However, he recently filmed the Christmas action-comedy The Man With the Bag, which is scheduled for release later this year.
