Samsung OLED TVs and monitors, certified with nVidia G-Sync
05.02.2026 • 18h34
Samsung OLED TVs and Samsung Odyssey gaming monitors, 2026 model year, officially support compatibility with nVidia's G-Sync technology.
Similar to AMD's FreeSync, Nvidia's G-Sync technology aims to synchronize the display's refresh rate with that of the Nvidia graphics card, preventing screen tearing and delivering a smooth experience. Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Division at Samsung Electronics, explains: "In other words, G-Sync compatible TVs and monitors are ideal for getting the most out of your PC games. Samsung has announced G-Sync certification for its 2026 OLED TV lineup, as well as for the new Odyssey G60H and G61SH gaming monitors. 'Our goal is simple: to deliver the ultimate, stutter-free gaming experience, no matter the game or where you play,' says Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Division at Samsung Electronics." Thanks to new innovations in our OLED TVs and gaming monitors, we're bringing more power, precision, and immersion to all types of gamers. The AVcesar editorial team considers this announcement official because, at least for TVs, we've observed that many Samsung models already support G-Sync compatibility.
