LG presents its LG CLOiD domestic robot and the Zero Labor Home concept

At CES 2026, LG Electronics is showcasing its CLOiD robot, designed to help you with household chores.
Unveiled to the public for the first time at CES 2026 during the Korean manufacturer's press conference, the LG CLOiD home robot embodies LG Electronics' "Zero Labor Home" theme. LG CLOiD, the assistant robot, combines robotics and artificial intelligence to assist you with everyday tasks, such as laundry or cooking, both physically and by integrating into the LG ThinQ ecosystem. Its articulated arms and fingers mimic human movements, allowing the robot, for example, to grab food from the refrigerator and place it in the microwave. It also learns its users' habits and can start a (connected) washing machine, then put away the dried clothes.

LG CLOiD, autonomous robot Equipped with motorized wheels, LG CLOiD moves autonomously, using technology already proven in LG's robot vacuum cleaners. The robot's head is equipped with various sensors and a screen to display facial expressions, coupled with AI-generated voice expressions to best communicate with its human companions. It can thus coach and motivate you in your daily exercise or any other activity of the day. A word from Steve Baek, President of LG Home Appliance Solutions: “The LG CLOiD home robot is designed to assist, understand, and interact naturally with humans, thus providing optimized home help,” said Steve Baek, President of LG Home Appliance Solutions. “We will relentlessly pursue our vision of the Zero Effort Home, making household chores a thing of the past so that customers can dedicate more time to what truly matters.”
