iPhones in 2026 will be more expensive, thanks Samsung?

The price increase for memory chips, which began in 2025, is expected to impact the cost of devices relying on these components, particularly smartphones, in 2026.
For some time now, the electronics world has been observing a gradual increase in component prices, particularly memory processors. All analysts agree that these increases will impact devices that rely on these components by 2026. Samsung, memory chips more expensive in 2026. Manufacturers will then have three options: reduce technical specifications, lower margins, or increase the selling price. Apple will not be spared and will likely opt for the third option for its new iPhones, partly due to Samsung… Indeed, Samsung's electronics division is one of Apple's main suppliers of memory chips, and knowing that it won't be lenient with Samsung's own mobile division, there's little chance it will be kind to the competition. This corroborates the pessimistic predictions of some analyst firms.
