Music videos on Spotify: it's becoming clearer.

To withstand competition from YouTube and TikTok, the music streaming platform Spotify is expanding its experience of streaming entire music videos, in addition to music tracks.
In March 2024, Spotify launched a beta test of streaming full-length music videos to accompany existing music tracks. Initially available to a selection of Premium subscribers in eleven regions—Brazil, Colombia, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom—the test has recently expanded to two more regions, and not insignificant ones: the United States and Canada. Music videos are now available on Spotify. Note that for the moment, only a few artists are involved, including Ariana Grande, Olivia Dean, Babymonster, Addison Rae, Tyler Childers, Natanael Cano, and Carín León. Spotify is asking its users to "stay tuned," promising that the feature will expand to other regions in the coming months. Specifically, the "Skip to Video" option, clickable on the audio screen, displays the music video instead of the album art. When a video is playing, the option changes to "Skip to Audio." Note that the smartphone can be rotated to enjoy videos in landscape mode.
