OLED invasion at Apple

Following the iPad Pro, other tablets will switch from LCD to OLED technology, starting with the iPad Mini in 2026.
According to the latest information gathered by Bloomberg, Apple is considering integrating OLED technology into several of its products that currently use LCD screens: iPad Mini, iPad Air, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air. [Timeline for OLED screen adoption in Apple products] After the iPad Pro released last year, the iPad Mini is expected to be the next Apple tablet to feature an OLED screen, as early as 2026. As for the iPad Air, it will have to wait until at least 2027, and if a version is released next year, it will remain LCD. Thus, almost the entire iPad range will eventually be equipped with OLED, with the exception of the base model. For the brand's laptops, the MacBook Pro could make its transition in late 2026 or early 2027, a year later for the MacBook Air, i.e., late 2027 or early 2028.
