Smartphone in "sleep" mode, that's a gift

Let's start with the bad news: this adorable little smartphone bed is unfortunately only available (for now?) in the United Arab Emirates. Called the Phone Sleep Collection, this Ikea product is also only available as part of a campaign to promote sleep. Ikea cares about your sleep! Offered to customers who spend a minimum amount on Complete Sleep Collection products, the bed is equipped with an NFC chip that tracks your sleep, or more precisely, the "sleep" time of your smartphone, which is itself at rest and therefore presents no distractions for the sake of your own sleep. Bonus: users who manage to get 7 hours of sleep for 7 consecutive days receive a voucher. “Sleep is one of the most important design projects in our lives, and yet it’s often the most neglected,” says Carla Klumpenaar, Managing Director of Marketing, Communications, HF, and Retail Design at Ikea. Go on, goodnight, and turn off that darn phone.
