Foldable iPhone, which metal with titanium?

New rumors have emerged about next year's foldable iPhone, with speculation that the metal—aluminum or steel—will accompany the titanium that will protect the device.

According to Taiwanese analyst Jeff Pu, the foldable iPhone, which is supposed to be released at the end of next year, would be made of a mixture of titanium and aluminum for its outer shell.

He does not specify whether it is an alloy or a separate use of the two metals depending on their position on the device, but he contradicts previous rumors that rather saw titanium accompanied by stainless steel. In any case, the presence of titanium seems guaranteed, and this is normal when we know that the smartphone is only expected to be around 4.5 mm thick when unfolded, even thinner than that of the iPhone Air, therefore requiring increased solidity, especially for unnatural folds.
