While the Korean manufacturer has not yet communicated significantly on this model, technical details continue to flow through alternative channels, for example this patent recently published by KIPRIS (or Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service) which reveals that the device will be equipped with three batteries, one per section.

We also learn that each battery has its own shape and thickness. Thus, the smallest is located in the part that contains the main cameras, the medium-sized one is located in the central segment, which includes the external screen, and the largest is in the flap that will be sandwiched between the other two when the device is folded. However, we don't yet know the battery capacity, battery life, or charging speed of Samsung's tri-fold smartphone. Official information should be available soon.
