A few days ago, a post on X quickly went viral. And for good reason, it reported the misadventures of a traveler who was very annoyed because the battery of his Galaxy Ring connected ring had started to swell, trapping his finger.
Galaxy Ring that swells, don't panic££££
But the panic could have been avoided with a simple internet search, since Samsung had already planned for this scenario, providing a technical support page explaining what to do in the event of a stuck ring, even without a faulty battery. And if the ring needs to be cut, the manufacturer even provides a small diagram showing exactly where to cut to be sure not to touch the battery and risk an unfortunate accident. Samsung even specifies that such a procedure should only be carried out by a medical professional.
Regarding the incident that sparked the controversy, even though the post received more than 15 million views in two days, it is far from a scandal, as Samsung assures that cases of battery swelling are "extremely rare."
