Apple expects to be able to identify more than a million undiagnosed people in the first year of sale.

Precision, hypertension detection will arrive later on older models: Apple Watch Ultra 2 as well as Apple Watch 9 and later. Another new feature is a sleep score to refine its existing monitoring.
