Dolby: In the car, Simone!

Last week, Dolby Laboratories announced numerous partnerships with car manufacturers to integrate its audio solutions into vehicles.
At the IAA 2025 - or International Motor Show - which took place in Munich from September 9 to 12, Dolby Laboratories demonstrated its in-car audio systems and discussed its partnerships with automotive brands.

Dolby partners with around thirty car manufacturers worldwide££££ Thus, around thirty major manufacturers from around the world have integrated immersive sound [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] into their vehicles or have announced their intention to do so. A figure twice as high as that of the previous year. And among the European brands we notably find Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Porsche. Also, after Dolby Atmos, HDR Dolby Vision is also beginning to be adopted by car manufacturers. Dolby adds that Amazon Music and Audible will support Dolby Atmos for music and spoken word content across a growing number of automotive brands, including Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Polestar, and Volvo Cars.
