IFA 25 > Hisense 136" and 163" Micro LED TVs, 10,000 nits and up to €110,000

Micro LED technology, undoubtedly the next screen revolution, is still awaited. While it is still present and demonstrated on brand stands at international trade shows, it currently concerns the professional sector or (very) wealthy consumers. While waiting for the (distant) democratization of the technology, brands are refining their professional offerings.

Let's not lie to ourselves, change isn't coming soon! The Micro LED TV revolution, that is to say, with televisions suitable for the average person, won't happen for several years, perhaps by 2030 at the earliest, according to the consensus of the manufacturers involved in this display process.

Hisense invests in Micro LED technology££££

Unveiled at the IFA show in Berlin 2024 by Hisense on its stand, the two 136" (345 cm) and one 163" (414 cm) were again present in 2025. From a technological demonstration last year, following the acquisition in 2023 of a Chinese manufacturer of [abc]LED[/abc] (HC Semitek and Changelight) to have the necessary expertise, these diffusers will be available to order from 2026. The specifications, not yet known in their entirety, mention a coverage of 90% of the Rec.2020 gamut and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits.

Indicative prices: €80,000 for the 136" Hisense Micro LED screen, €110,000 for the 163" Hisense Micro LED screen.
