Here's a quick rundown of what we've recently learned about the console, codenamed "Canis." PS6 portable, rumored key features: 3nm monolithic IC Backward compatibility with PS5 and PS4 games MicroSD slot, M.2 SSD slot, haptic vibration, dual microphones, and touchscreen USB-C port with video support Production scheduled for mid-2027, with a likely release date in fall 2027 or early 2028 Quad-core Zen 6c processor 12-20 RDNA 5 compute units running at 1.6-2 GHz 128-bit memory bus with LPDDR5X-7500+ Rasterization performance (conventional 3D display) estimated at around 0.5x that of the PS5 (Ray Tracing should be better)
