Seasoned collectors are willing to spend millions to acquire a piece of pop culture history, namely those props that appear in the movies and often require expert craftsmanship from skilled artists.
A piece of Star Wars history for sale££££
Props that sometimes appear surreptitiously, but other times are central and instantly recognizable elements. And it is one of these objects that will be the attraction of the next sale of the PropStore auction house (used to this kind of items), since we are talking here about nothing less than Darth Vader's lightsaber, wielded by his interpreter David Prowse in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
The emblematic weapon of the Star Wars universe, estimated between 1 and 3 million dollars, will be put up for sale in September in Beverly Hills (alongside other priceless pieces like Indiana Jones' whip) after having been exhibited in London and New York in August.
