Leaker "Majin Bu" got his hands on a dummy model of the new iPhone 17 Air that's expected to debut this fall, and posted a short video that you can check out right here.
iPhone 17 Air fake but likely££££
The leak is a priori legitimate when we know that large-scale production is normally already launched, and that such models are provided in advance to accessory manufacturers so that they can prepare their own production.
A quick reminder of the suspected characteristics of the iPhone 17 Air:££££
• Record thinness of 5.5 mm (or even less), but naturally a little more at the level of the photo module
• [abc]Oled[/abc] 6.6" screen, refresh rate up to 120 Hz and ProMotion (or not?)
• A19 chip (compared to A19 Pro for the iPhone 17 Pro) • 12 GB of RAM memory
• A single 48 Mpxls main photo sensor and 24 Mpxls for the selfie camera
• A single speaker on top, none on the bottom
• Apple's proprietary Wi-Fi 7 chip (made by them) and proprietary 5G C1 modem
• eSim only, no physical Sim card
• [abc]USB[/abc]‑C port • High-density battery but expected low battery life, so Apple would also release a battery case • Camera and Action buttons
