With its five distinct ranges, Huawei Watch, Huawei Watch Fit, Huawei Watch GT, Huawei Watch Ultimate and Huawei Watch D2, the eponymous manufacturer proudly announces that it will be ranked number 1 in the global wrist-worn device market in the first quarter of 2025 (IDC figures). Incidentally, the Chinese manufacturer specifies that as of June 5, 2025, cumulative global shipments of Huawei wearables have exceeded 200 million units.

“The ability of Huawei wearables to meet users’ needs in terms of sports and health management is based on a constant commitment to innovation,” explains the company. Huawei has established three Health Labs around the world (including one in Europe, in Helsinki), drawing on the expertise of more than ten research institutes within the group to push the boundaries of health technology applied to sports. To date, Huawei wearables have obtained medical device certifications in 13 countries/regions internationally, and nearly 1,000 patents have been filed in the field of smart wearables, the brand adds. Huawei also collaborates with more than 160 professional institutions around the world, has conducted more than 300 health research projects and has brought together more than 17 million users in dedicated studies.
