As with the Chinese manufacturer's 2025 Mini LED TV series, the TCL C6K, TCL C7K, TCL C8K, TCL C9K, and the TCL P8K QLED TV series, we now know more about the TCL P7K, also a QLED TV, giving the AVcesar editorial team the opportunity to take a closer look at it.
As you can see in the photos below, these televisions have a premium design, notably thanks to an elegant and thin metal bar at the bottom and an extremely discreet LCD panel frame to give pride of place to the image. And for safety reasons (better stability), the 75'' and 85'' models have a double foot (adjustable according to the TV support) placed at both ends of the panel. The TCL P7K series has six references [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc]: the TCL 43P7K (43'', 109 cm), TCL 50P7K (55'', 127 cm), TCL 55P7K (55'', 140 cm), TCL 65P7K (65'', 165 cm), TCL 75P7K (75'', 191 cm) and TCL 85P7K (85'', 216 cm).

TCL P7K, main Specifications££££ Models [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] [abc]LCD[/abc], TCL P7K TVs are equipped with a Direct [abc]LED[/abc] [abc]Global Dimming[/abc] backlight system. Of course, Quantum Dots technology (nanocrystals) is used for 93% coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut thanks to nanocrystals with a unique alloy for a more pronounced reaction to light, associated with a native 10-bit 60 Hz HVA LCD panel and AiPQ Engine video processing (and not AiPQ Pro as initially announced).

A DLG function that allows a display up to 120 Hz via a 60 Hz panel, reducing the vertical resolution by half for a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience, is present on diagonals 55" and above. This will delight owners of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X consoles or high-end gaming PCs. On the technical specifications menu, the TCL P7K televisions display a peak brightness of 350 nits, except for the 85" which peaks at 450 nits.

Logically, one of the three HDMI connectors is 2.1 compliant for managing HFR 4K/120, eARC (HDMI 3) and ALLM. There is also VRR compatibility (from 48 Hz to 120 Hz). In the HDR chapter, HDR10, [abc]HDR10+[/abc], [abc]HDR HLG[/abc] and [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc] technologies are included. We can also mention 120 Hz MEMC motion compensation, a new anti-reflective treatment, an anti-blue light mode and Freesync certification. Plus a Game mode with an Input Lag of approximately 12 ms. TCL P7K, 2.0/2.1 sound, from 20 W to 30 W depending on the size££££ The sound equipment is still from Onkyo, placed at the rear of the screen, for a total power of 20 W in [abc]2.0[/abc] configuration (2 x 10 W) for the 43" to 75" models, 30 W in [abc]2.1[/abc] on the TCL 85P7K. [abc]DTS[/abc] Virtual:X and [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] compatibility are on the program.

TCL P7K, Smart Google TV and connectivity££££ The TCL P7K TVs include the Smart Google TV function (Android 12). For connectivity, Wi-Fi 5 is used in addition to Bluetooth 5.0. The connectivity therefore includes, as already mentioned, three HDMI connectors (one 2.1 and two 2.0) certified [abc]HDCP[/abc] 2.2. Also included are an [abc]optical[/abc] output, a [abc]USB[/abc] 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, an [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port, plus a [abc]CI+ port[/abc].

Immediate availability: €379 for the TCL 43P7K, €479 for the TCL 50P7K (55'', 140 cm), €549 for the TCL 55P7K (55'', 140 cm), €749 for the TCL 65P7K (65'', 165 cm), €1,199 for the TCL 75P7K (75'', 191 cm) and €1,599 for the TCL 85P7K (85'', 216 cm).
