Rumors are becoming increasingly insistent that the first iPhone with a foldable screen will arrive in the fall of 2026. But the device has still not been released and the shadow of its successor is already being seen.
Foldable iPhone, predictions by Ming-Chi Kuo££££
In a recent report by Ming-Chi Kuo discussing the new iPhone release schedule starting next year (more details in our Disrupted release schedule for future iPhones? and 13 new iPhones by 2027?), the Taiwanese analyst reiterates that the foldable iPhone will be released in 2026, and adds that its successor is already planned for the end of 2027, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the iPhone.
