As a reminder, the 10th anniversary was marked by notable innovations for the iPhone X, including the edge-to-edge OLED screen and the disappearance of the Home button in favor of Face ID facial recognition. And apparently, Apple also wants to mark the occasion for the 20th anniversary model, normally called iPhone 19 (but knowing Apple, we might go straight to the iPhone XX?).

According to indiscretions collected by the Korean site ET News (via Apple Insider), Apple is developing a new driver chip for the OLED screen for this model based on the 3D FinFET structure to, in concrete terms, obtain reduced power consumption and more brightness. Also developed is a wrap-around screen on the edges of the device, as well as the integration of a camera hidden under the screen.
Finally, a pure silicone battery could be added, replacing graphite for increased energy density, more autonomy and a longer lifespan than current versions.
