Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Ultrathin, Announced May 13

It's confirmed, the first ultra-thin smartphone from Samsung will be unveiled this Tuesday, May 13.

Sacrificing a few technical features for the sake of a very thin design and hoping to attract the public, that's the bet that the smartphone giants are taking at the moment: Apple with the iPhone 17 Air at the start of the school year, preceded by Samsung whose Galaxy S25 Edge is coming very soon.

And as previous rumors had predicted, the official announcement will take place on May 13, more precisely at 2 a.m. French time (perfect if you're a night owl or an early riser). No conference by invitation, but a live presentation on Samsung's YouTube channel, as well as on its website. The device should be 5.85 mm thick, very thin therefore, even if Apple should do better with 5.5 millimeters.

Other rumors announce a price of €1,249 for more than decent specifications: 6.7” 120 Hz Amoled screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (like the other Galaxy S25), 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB/512 GB storage, 200 MP main lens and 12 MP wide-angle lens, for a 3,900 mAh battery.
